Great post! And I have to agree with all the others above me. You are a great writer (and this is just my first time coming here!)

I write the way I talk too, and I tend to be pretty wordy because I chat a lot (just ask BF.. sometimes he tunes me out, his brain is exhausted)

I must agree with Andhari: you already are a good writer.

And I have always noticed that your blog is written much like how you speak: very verbose but without being circumlocutory or grandiloquent (sorry, but I just love those words).

I personally don't mind stories or people that use words I have to look up, as long as they aren't jarring (hopefully you know what I mean). I enjoy learning new words, and if no one uses odd or "scholarly" words, no one will learn them.
